The Management of the Ghana Culture Forum has scheduled this year’s Ghana Cultura Week celebration from March 12-17 2024, with various activities to showcase the rich culture of Ghana.
This year’s event is themed ‘Cultivating Cultural Capital, Nurturing Ghana’s Legacy For Ghana’s Renaissance “.
In an interview with Ahuma Bosco Ocansey, Ghana Culture Forum’s vice chairman on the AM Show, he explained that since the Ghana Cultural Forum belongs to a civil society organization and is born out of culture, there is a need to raise or train culture because any nation that wants to develop has to have its culture at the centre.
He mentioned that there would be media engagement, school debates, a symposium, there will be a presentation on the African fashion show launched in Lagos Nigeria in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), climax with a show at the National Theatre.
He stated the importance of the Ghana Culture Week Celebration which seeks to exhibit culture, provision of intellectual conversation, and its roles in our development.
