Gideon Nii Cofie Appointed Centre Referee For Gbese Homowo Charity Cup

The Ghana Football Association has named match officials for the 2024 Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup between Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club and Kpando Heart of Lions Football Club.
Nii Cofie Gideon has been named as the Centre Referee for the match and will be assisted by Ato Yawson (Assistant 1) and Richard Nartey (Assistant 2).

Laud Nettey has been named as the Fourth Official with Alexander Azamati serving as Match Commissioner.


The anniversary cup match is slated to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
The Ghana Football Association is assured that the two Premier League Clubs, shall abide by the relevant GFA Regulations to ensure a successful match and bring befitting honour to His Royal Highness Nii (Dr.) Ayi Bonte II, the Paramount Chief of Gbese and Adonten of the Ga State.
The ceremonial match is also being used to promote peace ahead of the 2024 General Elections in Ghana.
All stakeholders are to take note and abide accordingly.
