Hopeson Adorye Granted Bail

A leading member of the Movement for Change, Hopeson Adorye, has been granted bail by the Dansoman Circuit Court on Thursday, May 23. 

He was granted bail by the Dansoman District Court, set at GH¢20,000.

The leading member of the Movement was charged with the publication of false news.

He was arrested on Wednesday over his claim that he caused the expoosion of dynamites in the Volta Region during the 2016 general elections to favour the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Mr. Adorye made the claim during a radio interview on Accra FM on May 10, which has since gone viral.
