Black sharks arrive in Abidjan for crucial AFCON qualifier

Ghana’s Beach Soccer National Team, the Black Sharks, arrived in Abidjan ahead of the second leg of their AFCON qualifier against Ivory Coast, scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2024.

After securing a thrilling 5-3 victory in the first leg clash held at the Keta Emancipation Beach last weekend, the Black Sharks are determined to maintain their momentum and secure a result in the return encounter that will see them clinch a spot in this year’s Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations, which will be staged in Egypt.

The return fixture promises to be another intense battle between the two sides, with Ghana hoping to exhibit impressive offensive flair and defensive resilience against their Ivorian counterparts.

The Black Sharks will train this afternoon as they prepare to take to the sandy beach again on Saturday for the crunch encounter played in Abidjan.
