According to Hon. Kwesimintim, the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) can only be effectively utilized when there is collaboration and unity among the various stakeholders.
He urged MMDCEs to work closely with MPs and Assembly Members to drive development in their respective constituencies.
According to The DACF is a critical tool for development at the local level. However, its impact can be greatly enhanced when MMDCEs, MPs, and Assembly Members work together towards a common goal.
The MP’s call for unity comes at a time when there is growing concern about the lack of development in many districts across the country.
Many have attributed this to the lack of collaboration and coordination among stakeholders.
Hon. Kwesimintim’s comments are a timely reminder that development is a collective responsibility that requires the input and effort of all stakeholders.
By working together, MMDCEs, MPs, and Assembly Members can ensure that the DACF is utilized effectively to drive development and improve the lives of Ghanaians.
