In a bold step towards empowering young boxers, a staunch boxing fan and a Prophet, John Wesley Lawson is set to launch his boxing Promotion, MPT Foundation on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Infiniti Event Centre on Chemu Road, Accra.
The event will kick off at 3PM, with boxing stakeholders, enthusiast, and the general public gracing the occasion.
Under the theme “Possibility Actions,” MPT Foundation GH goal is to create opportunities for emerging boxing talents across Ghana.
This launch marks the beginning of a new era for grassroots or juvenile as well as professional boxing in the local boxing community. It is aim at focusing on promotion, mentorship, and providing the necessary equipments for young and upcoming boxers to grasp the art of boxing to succeed in the sport.

The event will showcase the vision and mission statements of the foundation.
The MPT foundation is not only interested in donating Boxing equipments but also nurturing young talents to also follow in the footsteps of boxing legends like Azumah Nelson, Ike Quartey, Eddy Blay etc and also give them a sense of purpose in Life.
Prophet John Wesley Lawson, is a native of the Ga Community and a staunch boxing fan who is aiming to help boxers through his foundation and elevate the sport to the next level.
