Ghana’s “Golden Arms,” have successfully returned home after a stellar performance at the 14th Africa Armwrestling Championship held in Abuja, Nigeria.
Ghana’s Armwrestling national team won a staggering 55 medals in total comprising of 26 gold, 20 silver, and 9 bronze registering Ghana’s strong performance in Armwrestling on the African Continent.
The Golden Arms faced off with four hundred Athletes from nineteen different countries and displayed their prowess across both the left and right hand competition.

The federation, despite it challenges, the Golden Arms rose to the occasion and made the nation proud.
In its Press release, the Ghana Armwrestling Federation extended heartfelt gratitude to diplomatic and institutional partners who played a key role in facilitating the team’s successful participation.
The Federation also gave credit to the Ghana Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Sports and Recreation and the National Sports Authority for their crucial role in the team’s preparation and participation.
