Cyclists across Ghana are gearing up for the this year’s Edition of the Duku Festival Cycling Race, slated to take place on Sunday, August 17, 2025, in Osu, Accra.
Organized under the auspices of Dot Ateliers, in partnership with the Ghana Cycling Federation, this Cycling event is a key feature of the annual Duku Festival, that blends the various categories of Para cyclists.

The race will start and finish at the X’Borg TotalEnergies Service Station on 28th February Road, passing key city landmarks including the Independence Square, and looping through La Road near the Access Bank Osu branch.
The cyclists highlighted to take part in this year’s event will wear their colorful team jerseys and helmets,that will reflect the competition on the race day.
Humphrey Kofi Ayittey won the maiden edition of the Duku Festival Cycling Race featuring 51 cyclists, representing four regions of Ghana and one foreign cyclist from Italy.

This year’s race is expected to feature male and female tandems, male amputee, and male hand cycling categories.
The Duku Festival cycling Race is committed to promote inclusivity and empowering athletes with disabilities.
Telecel, Metro TV, Latenu Radio 96.1 FM, Blue Skies, Treasure Ice, and Adoa TV, alongside the Ministry of Tourism, and Ga South Municipal Assembly are the sponsors behind this year’s edition.
