The Ghana Armed Forces is gearing up to host its inaugural Bowls Championship at the Ghana Armed Forces Sports Complex in Burma Camp, Accra.
Scheduled for August 20–21, 2025, the event promises two full days of exciting competition running from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day.
With only seven days remaining until military personnel, civilians, and sports fans come together for this landmark sporting event, the championship aims to attract emerging talents and audiences eager to watch the game of bowls.
Introducing this sport marks a significant move towards popularizing bowls in Ghana, particularly among the youth.
The championship will feature multiple categories, enabling players of various skill levels to participate.
For many, this occasion is not solely about the pursuit of medals but also about creating history as part of the very first chapter of bowls in the Ghana Armed Forces.
