Black Shooters Return from Harare, Set Sights on Team Revamp and November Redemption Clash

Story by Isaac Mortey

The national table soccer team, the Black Shooters, have safely arrived back in Ghana after participating in an invitational tournament in Harare, Zimbabwe. The Black shooters performance fell short of expectations, losing to their Zimbabwean counterpart.

In response, the Executives of the Ghana Table Soccer Federation has announced plans for a “Justify Your Inclusion” program.

This talent-scouting initiative will give emerging players across the country the chance to compete for a spot on the national team.

Looking ahead, the Black Shooters have another chance to prove themselves on home soil. In November 2025, Ghana will host Zimbabwe in a return fixture, an opportunity for the Black shooters to redeem their image and a showcase progression.
