Comfort Yeboah Joins Spanish Side DUX Logroño for 2025/26 Season

Spain, September 25, 2025 – Ghanaian right-back Comfort Yeboah has officially signed with Spanish top-flight club DUX Logroño for the 2025/26 season, marking a significant step in her blossoming football career.

Yeboah, who plays for both the Black Queens and the Black Princesses, makes the move from Ampem Darkoa Ladies, one of Ghana’s leading clubs in the Women’s Premier League. Her transfer was confirmed on Thursday, just days after she featured in Ghana’s squad for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.

The 19-year-old becomes the second Ghanaian player to join DUX Logroño this season, following teammate Nancy Amoh, who also joined from Ampem Darkoa earlier this month.

Early Impact Expected

Comfort has already begun training with her new teammates and is expected to be part of the matchday squad for Logroño’s weekend clash against Alhama FC on Saturday, September 27.

Renowned for her pace, composure, and defensive discipline, Yeboah is expected to bring strength and depth to the Spanish side’s backline.

Rising Star

Yeboah was a key player for the Black Queens during the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, where Ghana secured a third-place finish and a bronze medal. She featured in every match of the tournament, earning praise for her consistent performances on the right flank.

Her transfer to Europe adds to the growing number of Ghanaian women making waves on the international stage and is seen as a promising move for both her personal development and the visibility of Ghanaian women’s football.
