Ghana has rolled out the 2025 edition of “December in GH”, a signature tourism and cultural initiative designed to promote the country as Africa’s leading destination for cultural festivities and diaspora reunions.
The official launch, spearheaded by the Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, and the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, highlighted the government’s renewed commitment to using culture, creativity, and innovation to drive tourism and national pride.

Building on the success of last year’s edition, which drew more than 200,000 international visitors, the 2025 campaign will feature events across all regions of Ghana. It aims to showcase the nation’s vibrant music, cuisine, fashion, and festivals, while deepening its reputation as the cultural heartbeat of Africa.
