Nationwide Security Services Recruitment Begins Today as C-SERP Portal Opens

Ghana’s nationwide recruitment exercise for all internal security agencies officially begins today, Monday, November 17, 2025, with the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP) set to open for applications at 12 noon.

According to a public notice, the portal will remain accessible until Friday, December 19, 2025, giving prospective applicants a full month to submit their applications to join any of the four key agencies:

Ghana Police Service
Ghana Immigration Service
Ghana National Fire Service
Ghana Prisons Service

The announcement was made by the Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mubarak, in a Facebook post on Monday.

Voucher Purchase Required

To access the portal, applicants must first purchase a recruitment voucher through one of two official channels:

The USSD code *713*03# on all mobile networks
Any GCB Bank branch nationwide

The notice stressed that applicants must clearly indicate which agency’s voucher they intend to purchase to ensure that their application is routed correctly from the start.

C-SERP Introduced for Transparency and Efficiency

The C-SERP platform was introduced to streamline the recruitment process, enhance transparency, and ensure efficiency across all internal security agencies. The government has reaffirmed its commitment to a clean and fair recruitment process and has cautioned the public against falling for fraudulent recruitment schemes.

In his post, the Interior Minister stated:

“The government of John Dramani Mahama, through the Ministry of the Interior, Ghana, has released the details of the core requirements and required documents for the 2025/26 centralized e-recruitment process. Applicants are advised to read carefully and comply accordingly. Please note: The portal opens at 12 noon today.”
