During an appearance on Adoatv’s “AM Ghana show”, Mr. Osman Awudu Laryea, a communicator for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), stated that the free SHS policy implemented by the NPP government has greatly benefited many students in the country, particularly those who are underprivileged.
“According to him, many underprivileged children, whose parents could not afford to sponsor their education, have gained access to prestigious universities through the free SHS policy.
Mr. Laryea also disputed claims that students in government secondary schools are not well-fed, despite media reports suggesting otherwise.”.
He also encouraged the authorities of secondary schools in the country to utilize arable lands on the school’s premises to cultivate crops to provide more food for the students.
