Prez. Mahama appoints Malik Basintale as Acting CEO of YEA

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Deputy National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Malik Basintale, as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).

The appointment follows the resignation of Kofi Baah Agyepong, who served in former President Akufo-Addo’s government.

Mr. Basintale will officially assume office on Monday, January 27, 2025.

Following his nomination, Mr. Basintale took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his gratitude to President Mahama.

“Thank you, Mr. President, H.E John D. Mahama. We shall not fail you,” he wrote.
