Anglican Diocese of Accra Shows Compassion with Donation to St. Nicholas Seminary

In a heartwarming display of generosity and compassion, the Diocesan Guild of Leaders of the Anglican Diocese of Accra (ADOA), led by Rev’d. Father Kwesi Bonsu, made a significant donation to the St. Nicholas Seminary in Cape Coast.

The donation, which took place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, brought joy and relief to at least 50 individuals, including facilitators, students (seminarians), and other staff members of the seminary.

Each recipient received a package of essential items, symbolizing the church’s commitment to supporting those in need.

According to Rev’d. Father Kwesi Bonsu, the donation is a manifestation of the church’s belief in “Alms Giving” and is part of the Lenten season’s tradition of fasting, praying, and giving.

“As Christians, we are called to show compassion and kindness to one another, especially during the Lenten season,” he emphasized.

The St. Nicholas Seminary, a prominent institution in the Anglican Church, Ghana, provides training and education for the future church leaders.

The seminary’s mission aligns with the Anglican Diocese of Accra’s values of service, compassion, and community development.

This act of kindness by ADOA demonstrates the church’s dedication to supporting the community and promoting the well-being of its members.

As the Lenten season continues, the Anglican Diocese of Accra remains committed to spreading love, kindness, and compassion throughout the region.
