The deadline for entries for the world boxing championship closes at 23:59 BST on 25 July 2025 for National Federations to enter their participants into the World Boxing Championships 2025.
The World Boxing Championships are coming to Liverpool from 4-14 September 2025 when more than 500 men and women from over 60 countries will compete at the same event for the title of World Boxing Champion.

The UEFA Champions League winner, gave reasons why Liverpool is the perfect place to hold the World Boxing Championships : “There is a huge passion in this City for sport in general, but especially for boxing.”
The historic event, which will see more than 500 of the world’s top boxers from over 60 countries compete in Olympic-style boxing, is the first time ever that the men and women’s world championships have been part of the same event.
The International Testing Agency is delivering a series of ‘Clean Sport Education Webinars’ for World Boxing throughout September and October.
The series is split into three sessions: Introduction to anti-doping, The Prohibited List, Medications, TUEs and Supplements and Testing. The sessions will be delivered in English, with simultaneous translation into Arabic, French, Mandarin Chinese, Russian and Spanish.
