As the New Patriotic Party prepares to elect it’s Presidential candidate tomorrow, 31st January, 2026, there has different polls predicting the winner of the election.
This has got the MP for Berekum West’s attention. In an interview on JoyNews’ AM show, Hon. Dickson Kyere-Duah, stated that the National Democratic Congress will not be shaken by the outcome of the NPP presidential candidate election.
According to him, the elected candidate will only be humiliated in the 2028 elections as the NDC will emerge victorious. He believes if his party continues on their current path to development, victory is assured.
“Whoever the NPP is going to present to us is going to face a humiliating defeat in 2028, no doubt about that. I’ve said it over and over. Let me repeat that—whoever it is, if the NDC continues along the path we’ve charted in the last 12 months, it doesn’t matter,” he stated.
“So for us, we’re not bothered whoever is elected tomorrow,” he added.
