The residents of East Legon Hills have called on the Managing Director of the Ghana Water Company Limited for swift intervention on poor water supplies in the neighbourhood.
According some residents, they have stayed over 15months without water supply and have had to rely on private water tankers.
The residents say this crisis is worsening everyday. According to them, engagements with district and regional officials of GWCL have failed to yield results.
A letter from GWCL was sited in response to a letter from the residents dated 20th November, 2025 for a bi-weekly water supply schedule.
Residents say this scheduled has failed increasing the fruatration and mistrust for the company.
