The Ghana Volleyball Federation (GVA) has announced the final squad of the Black Spikers, Ghana’s Senior Women’s National Volleyball Team, for the 2026 Women’s Africa Nations Volleyball Championship in Nairobi, Kenya.
The championship is scheduled to take place from August 23 to September 5, 2026, bringing together some of Africa’s best women’s volleyball teams to compete for honours.
The Black Spikers have undergone weeks of intensive preparation ahead of the tournament, with the team focused on building cohesion, sharpening their tactical approach and ensuring they are ready for the challenges ahead.
Ghana’s representatives are expected to approach the competition with determination as they seek to make a strong impression on the African stage and further advance the development of women’s volleyball in the country.
The Ghana Volleyball Federation described the tournament as a new chapter for women’s volleyball, with the team determined to give its best in every point, set and match while proudly representing the country.
The Federation also expressed its profound gratitude to the Ministry of Sports and Recreation for its support in making the team’s participation in the championship possible.
