In a stirring keynote address at the 8th Ghana CEO Summit, former President John Dramani Mahama called on corporate leaders to play a crucial role in revitalizing the nation’s economy. He emphasized the importance of world-class business support, workforce upskilling, and an open regulatory framework.

“The path forward is clear. CEOs can play a pivotal role in reigniting business and economic growth in Ghana by addressing the imperatives of providing world-class business support, upskilling the workforce, and establishing an open and transparent regulatory framework,” Mahama stated.

Highlighting the need for collaboration, innovation, and strategic leadership, Mahama urged the corporate sector to drive Ghana towards a more prosperous and inclusive future. He envisions a diversified economic landscape characterized by a balanced mix of industries producing higher-value-added activities.

“Our goal as the National Democratic Congress, is an economically diversified landscape characterized by a balanced mix of industries and markets producing various higher-value-added activities. Working together with you, we can build the Ghana we need”, he affirmed.
