Mohammed Ramadan retains Adenta Constituency

The Good people of Adenta Constituency have retained Hon Mohammed Ramadan as MP for the constituency.

He wins for the second time on the ticket of the NDC in Adenta. Hon Ramadan has set a record for retaining his seat since the Adenta constituency is not noted for attaining power twice.

Ramadan snatched the seat from NPP’s Buaben Asamoa in the 2020 elections.

He defeated former Gender Minister, Nana Oye Bampoe Addo and Linda Awuni Asibi.

The constituency had two people contesting against the incumbent MP. Linda Awuni, Nana Oye, and Mohammed Ramadan.

Mohammed Ramadan: 1,015 Votes, while in 2020 came up with 63, 436 votes of 55.9%.

Linda Awuni: 506 Votes came third

Nana Oye: 989 Votes.

Total Votes Cast 2510, 3 rejected with a total of 2513 valid votes cast.
