Sam George retained as MP for Ningo-Prampram

Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Sam George, has been re-elected as the Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency.

He won against Michael Kwettey Nettey with seven votes in the tightly contested parliamentary primary.

The incumbent Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga, has also been re-elected to lead the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the election 2024.

The former Information Minister polled 863 votes in the just-ended NDC primaries making it the fourth time in the 2024 general elections.

His contenders Ustarz Jibreal Sahad polled 283 while Theo Braimah Awanzam managed 96 votes.

Meanwhile, Agnes Naa Momo has also been retained in Krowor Constituency. She pulled 240 making it the second time NDC Edgar Nii Kpakpo Addo lost to her coming up with 9 votes.
