Actress and author Yvonne Nelson over the weekend launched her book titled “I am not Yvonne Nelson” at Peduase Valley.
The event pulled out top and controversial celebrities gracing the event with not just showing up in person but with their money as Ghanaian rapper Medikal carried the night after buying the first copy for GHC 100,000.
Actor and politician John Dumelo, singer Becca, rapper AMG Medikal, actress Joselyn Dumas, comic actor Kwaku Manu, legendary director Shirley Frimpong Manso, Sammy Forson, Wife of Former Black Stars Player Sulley Muntari, Menaye Donkor among others are celebrities who graced the “I am not Yvonne Nelson” book launch over the weekend
Of all the big names, Medikal carried the night as he is trending across all media platforms for purchasing one of the first copies for GHc 100,000.
Social media Fans quickly reacted in hilarious and varying ways as most of them believe it is one of his many ways of chasing clouts one fan in particular asked: “Is he buying the book of Life?”
Others were more cynical with one noting: “Na book no ob3kan de3 ?”
One comment also read “is just for the media, as someone signs dollars on cedis check we see em”.
The most important warning was for Yvonne Nelson, who was told to look out for Medikal because, like his senior brother Shatta Wale, he can do anything for clout.
