American Pop queen Beyoncé has donated grants to support businesses including eight thousand pounds (£8,000) to a Nigerian restaurant called “Chuku’s” restaurant in Tottenham as part of her one million US dollars pledge to support businesses across the world.
The superstar who recently sold out five days at Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium said her charity was also supporting businesses in London.
This initiative is by her Renaissance world tour, and the Black Parade Small Business Impact Luncheon, created by her BeyGood Foundation to celebrate people, communities, and small businesses impacted by economic inequities worldwide.
The Luncheon was held at the Four Seasons in Tower Hill where over 100 entrepreneurs gathered at the event with the chance to win hundred thousand US dollars ($100,000) (£806,090) in prizes.
With over 400 applications, Emeka and his sister Ifey, owners of the Chuku’s restaurant, were part of the 2 percent winners of the night.
Beyoncé had committed eight hundred and six thousand, four hundred and one pound (£806,401.00) to support those businesses.
