Dormaa East Member of Parliament, Paul Twum Barima, has expressed his view that the process of declaring assets by officials in Ghana is currently cumbersome.
He noted that officials are required to go through several documents in order to fill in the necessary asset declaration forms.
Twum Barima proposed that the asset declaration process should be computerized, allowing officials to input their information electronically from anywhere. This, he believes, would streamline and simplify the process, making it more convenient for individuals to submit their asset declarations.
Twum Barima highlighted that the current process involves a lot of paperwork and manual effort, which could be significantly improved by adopting a computerized system for asset declaration.
