A member of the communication team of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Marvin has expressed dissatisfaction towards a section of Ghanaians who keep chastising the vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for detaching himself from the current economic woes of the country.
According to him, the Vice President was assigned to the role of digitalizing the country which he has delivered and still doing, as against his counterparts, Ken Ofori Atta and Dr Ernest Addison.
Speaking to Nana Kwame Sokratis during the “am show” on Adoa TV this morning, he pointed to the fact that the vice president has been consistent in his delivery as one that has Information Technology at his heart.
“Because the man since 2010, when in his speech, he said he wrote his article that was published on how Africa can move the economy forward, and he talked about digitalisation, so digitalisation has become part of the man”, he said.
Dr. Bawumia has been the subject of discussion after he revealed his visions for Ghanaians last Wednesday, 7th February 2024 at the University of Professional Studies Accra ( UPSA) auditorium.
