Communications team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party ( NPP), Seth Offei has described the vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the most credible vice president in the history of Ghana.
Mr Offei made this claim during an interview with Pepsival on the “AM Ghana Show” of Adoa TV on February 13, 2024.
According to him, the Vice president since his selection in 2008 as the running mate to then-candidate Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has lived up to the task and is without credibility issues, unlike his key opponent whose credibility is in deficit.
“Indeed over the years, he has been seen as the most efficient and hardworking and demonstrated credibility over the years, given his works, right from when Nana Addo selected him in 2008 till date, I don’t think there’s an iota of corruption against his personality- you can’t talk about that about other candidate; but for him I can stick my neck out and say that, he’s the most incorruptible vice president over the years that Ghana has ever had” he said.
The credibility of the flagbearers of the leading political parties for the 2024 general elections has been a matter of discourse for the past few days.
