Deputy Constituency Women Organiser for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ngleshie-Amanfro constituency of the Greater Accra region, Gifty Enam Gbedevi has labelled the vice President and flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party ( NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as an unserious and a funny leader.
She made this claim during an interview with Nana Kwame Sokratis on the “AM Ghana Show” of Adoa TV this morning. According to her, Dr Bawumia failed to acknowledge the hard work of the NDC in laying down a good foundation for the Ghana Card registration, in his long speech delivered at the UPSA auditorium recently.
“From where I sit, hadn’t been that I’m a pure NDC person, I could have said that Bawumia is a comic actor- when we say someone is a comic actor, he stands on platforms to make people laugh”, she told the host.
She added that Dr. Bawumia’s acts of fun do not pay him like the other celebrities we know in the country, but rather exemplify them in lies which is evident in his long speech delivered recently at the UPSA auditorium.
“You could not even sit down after reading all the 73 pages and pinpoint one which is true, but what I want to put on record here is that we should learn how to speak truth to power”, she said.
