Following Efua’s alleged failed attempt, the Guinness World Record officially disqualifies Efua’s attempt of the longest singing Marathon by an individual, which lasted for 126 hours and 55 minutes on December 29, 2023.
A tweet made by Guinness World Records on February 23 reads, “Unfortunately Efua’s Guinness World Records attempt for the longest singing Marathon was not successful.”
The GWR says Afua Asantewaa has been refunded for a request for priority Service process of her evidence earlier this month. The tweet explained that the review started earlier before Efua Asantewaa’s payment hence the refund.
Guinness World Records further sent their heartfelt message to Efua in her subsequent attempts.
“We wish Afua the best of luck with any future record attempts”.
