Minority Leader, Ato Forson, has expressed worry over the overbloated government size under the leadership of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration.
He thought the President would have used the reshuffle to reduce his government size but the President has since increased the size of his government and added new portfolios.
Ato Forson who was speaking after the President presented the State of the Nation Address, said “I am scandalized to have noticed that our president, following the recent ministerial reshuffle, has increased the size of his government.
He continued, “Today we have a Minister of Finance domestic and a Minister of Finance international.”.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo after several calls for a reshuffle removed Ken Ofori Atta from the Finance Ministry.
However, he made him a senior advisor and envoy for international finance and private-sector investments.
