His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said Ghana is currently one of the world’s largest in terms of drone delivery services, which has helped in the delivery of medicines, blood, and vaccines during his tenure.
He also mentioned that through his government’s work of digitalization, all regional, teaching, and district hospitals as well as patients would have their information recorded and can also access them at the hospitals without any need for hospital folders.
“We have also implemented the use of drones in the delivery of medicines, blood and vaccines,” he said.
Digitalizing records at hospitals will go a long way to save time and patients’ lives in terms of avoiding long queues and searching for folders from one shelf to the other.
