Alhaji Basnere Mumuni, a member of the communications team for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has commended President Akufo-Addo for the exceptional leadership initiatives he’s put in place over the period.
In a conversation with Nana Kwame Sokratis on the ” AM Ghana” Show of Adoa TV, the communicator emphasized that President Akufo-Addo will forever be remembered for the Free Senior High School initiative which had a lot of Ghanaian children beneficiaries. He however pointed to the fact that the NDC cannot boast of a single social intervention programme for which they’ll be remembered.
” For everyone government, when you govern this country for four or eight years and you’re leaving, at least Ghanaians should remember you with one legacy, like president Kufuor, everybody in this country can remember president Kufuor for health insurance, with Kufuor bus, thus Metro Mass; take it or leave it, people will remember Nana Addo for Free Education…….they should mention one policy that people can remember with Mahama”, he stressed.
Alhaji Basnere made this comment in affirmation of the president’s speech on the need for Ghanaians to keep their hopes high for the future during the 67th Independence Day celebration.
