We will embark on a three days i ndefinite strike – Doctors at KATH Warns

By: Anani Eliakem

Doctors at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital(KATH) say they will embark on an indefinite strike over harassment and threats to move out of their accommodation at Dunyame in the Ashanti Region.

The doctors indicated that they are being asked to move out of their residences which are close to the hospital where they can attend to emergencies promptly.

According to them, they are increasingly being harassed by phone calls and threats of cutting electricity and water supply leaving them in constant fear and panic.

They are therefore appealing to the Komfo Anokye Doctors Association (KADA) and the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) to intervene or otherwise, they will embark on an indefinite strike in three days.
