The Ghana South Africa Chamber of Business organized a three-day tennis tournament under the patronage of Her Excellency Grace Mason, the South Africa Commissioner to Ghana.

The event aimed to strengthen the relationship between the business community in Ghana and the diplomats. The tournament was attended by high-profile personalities, including Her Excellency Virginia Palmer, the USA Ambassador to Ghana, and Sena Siaw Boateng, the former Ghana Ambassador to Belgium.

Her Excellency Virginia Palmer, the USA Ambassador, expressed her views that the event was enjoyable and a great way to promote networking and partnerships between nations. When asked about how America and Ghana plan to strengthen their business relationship, she emphasized that the USA-Ghana business trade is important.

There are many American companies, particularly IT ones, that are interested in investing in Ghana, and more than a hundred US companies are already operating in Ghana, which has contributed to over two billion dollars in two-way trade.

She concluded that the US is open to inviting Ghanaians and other West African businesses to invest in US-based businesses as well.
