The Majority caucus in parliament has expressed dissatisfaction with the speaker’s decision to suspend the approval of the new ministerial nominees pending the determination of a suit filed at the Supreme Court.
Responding to the speaker’s directive, they contended that the president’s letter to parliament on the issues of the anti- – LGBTQ+ was in line with the constitution because parliament is a party to the case.
They also expressed disappointment in the minority for supporting the speaker’s decision.
