The action-packed boxing event kicked off over the weekend at the Bukom Boxing Arena, showcasing the talent and resilience of Ghana’s boxing contingent.

One standout boxer making headlines is Abubakar Kamoko, son of the legendary Ghanaian boxer Bukom Banku. Kamoko has etched his name in history by clinching a silver medal at the games, surpassing his father’s achievements from a quarter-century ago. Today, Kamoko returned to his alma mater, Bishop Mixed JHS, to inspire and share his success with the students.

The children, filled with pride and excitement, warmly welcomed Kamoko, thrilled to witness one of their triumphing on the international stage.
