Afram Plains: Missing Ferry with MP found

A Ferry which was reported missing at Afram Plains with the Member of Parliament for the Afram Plains South, Hon Joseph Appiah Boateng on board has successfully been found.

A news outlet by Accra-based Starr FM, on 28th March of this month reported on a missing Ferry on the Afram River. The report indicated that the Ferry took off at Adawaso and later disappeared while it was about to disembark passengers at its destination. The ferry, equipped with an outdated engine, experienced technical difficulties and was temporarily stranded.

However, an updated Video indicated that the Ferry has been located at its intended destination. No mitigation or any potential harm has befallen any of the passengers or MP.

The passengers have thankfully praised God for their safety and well-being.

“It is only God that we can and must thank for this safe arrival. It was such an experience but here we are safe and sound” one passenger stated.
