The High Court has affirmed the decision of the People’s National Convention (PNC) National Executive Committee (NEC) to indefinitely suspend Janet Nabla from her position as General Secretary.
David Apasera, leader of the PNC, clarified during a phone interview on Adoa TV’s “Am Show” that Nabla’s suspension followed due process, involving proceedings from the disciplinary committee to the national executive committee and ultimately the Congress.
Apasera emphasized that Nabla now holds the status of an ordinary party member. Expressing confidence in the party’s governance structures, he stated his belief that Nabla will eventually come to accept the court’s ruling and rejoin the party’s efforts in due course. Drawing from his extensive political experience, Apasera expressed optimism that Nabla will align with the party’s vision and resume her role in advancing its agenda.
