In a recent phone interview, Mr Eugene Kumi Arhin, a senior research analyst for a global information analytics company, explained that his company conducted a poll between March 22nd and 30th to determine which candidate would win if the Ghanaian elections were held today.
They sent 400 people to all 16 regions in Ghana to ask detailed questions about each candidate.
According to Mr. Arhin, after analyzing the data, John Dramani Mahama was leading with 54.3% of the votes, followed by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia with 34.9%, while Alan John Kyerematen had only 7.5%.
Interestingly, Nana Kwame Bediako had 3.3% of the votes, and the other candidates combined had just 1%. Mr. Arhin clarified that they included all the candidates who participated in the 2020 general election, which was not less than eight candidates.
He emphasized that their questions were clear and there was no ambiguity in their poll.
