In a heartfelt message shared on Twitter on April 15th, 2024, Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency, extended his congratulations and admiration to Former President H.E. Ablakwa highlighted the recent translation of Mahama’s book, “My First Coup D’Etat: And Other True Stories from the Lost Decades of Africa,” into Russian, noting its accessibility to a wider audience across several countries. He emphasized the widespread appeal of Mahama’s literary work, underscoring its significance in fostering cultural exchange and understanding.

Further, Ablakwa celebrated Mahama’s recent achievement of winning the prestigious 2024 Africa Advancement Award for Exemplary Leadership, recognizing his continued dedication to advancing the continent’s development agenda.

Acknowledging Mahama’s role as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flag-bearer and prospective President of Ghana, Ablakwa praised his leadership qualities, describing him as a beacon of democracy, vision, and statesmanship. He highlighted Mahama’s pivotal role in leading election observer missions across Africa, showcasing his commitment to promoting fair and transparent electoral processes on the continent.
