During a recent appearance on Adoatv’s “AM Ghana show,” Mr. Frank Nutifafa, a prominent figure within the National Democratic Congress (NDC), made a significant revelation regarding the former Ghana Football Association president, Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Nutifafa disclosed that Nyantakyi had been rushed to the hospital just one day before the highly anticipated elections. This revelation came amidst speculation surrounding Nyantakyi’s health and its potential impact on his electoral chances.
In his statement, Nutifafa expressed a belief that Nyantakyi’s hospitalization could have played a decisive role in the outcome of the elections. “We should know that his admittance in the hospital will go against him,” Nutifafa asserted, implying that this unforeseen circumstance may have influenced voters’ perceptions of Nyantakyi’s suitability for office.
About the election results, Nutifafa suggested a correlation between Nyantakyi’s hospitalization and his performance at the polls, indicating that his absence from the campaign trail due to health reasons may have adversely affected his electoral prospects. This revelation adds a new dimension to the electoral narrative surrounding Nyantakyi and raises questions about the intersection of health issues and political candidacy in Ghana’s democratic landscape.
