Frank Nutifafa, a member of the communication team for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has shed light on the downfall of Kwesi Nyantakyi, former president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
According to Nutifafa, Nyantakyi’s popularity was rooted in two pillars: his prominent position within the GFA and the infamous Anas Aremeyaw Anas exposé. Speaking on the AM Show Ghana on Adoa TV, Nutifafa revealed that Nyantakyi’s admission on the radio of his willingness to pay off Anas to quash the exposé played a pivotal role in his political demise.
“Investing in falsehoods only leads to failure,” Nutifafa emphasized, highlighting Nyantakyi’s ironic attempt to silence the exposé he claimed was inaccurate. This revelation, according to Nutifafa, eroded public trust in Nyantakyi, ultimately contributing to his failure in the election.
