Accra, Ghana – The Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu Constituency, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has petitioned the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) to investigate Hon. Bryan Acheampong, MP for Abetifi Constituency, over alleged corruption regarding shares in six hotels in Ghana.

Speaking to the press outside the Chamber, yesterday, Hon. Ablakwa urged CHRAJ to investigate the matter, stating that “allegations of corruption against a public official like Hon. Acheampong are serious and deserve thorough scrutiny.”

He emphasized that the petition aims to ensure transparency, accountability, and good governance.
The petition alleges that Hon. Acheampong has undisclosed interests in six hotels across Ghana, potentially contravening the Public Officers’ Code of Conduct and the Constitution.
