Popular African artiste and grammy-winning singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has been spotted in the movie industry as a producer.
With the upcoming Black Mic Mac film “3 Cold Dishes,” he will be producing his first Nollywood movie featuring as an executive producer.
Together with the artiste, the film will be co-produced by Black Mic Mac, Ifind, Alma Prods, Asurf Films, and Martian Network.
Burna Boy is set to produce the movie through Spaceship Films, a company he co-founded alongside Bose Ogulu, his mother.
The movie features stars such as Wale Ojo, Osas Ighodaro, Femi Jacobs, Ruby Akubueze, Brutus Richards as well as a few Ivorian and Senegalese actors.
“This film is a testament to the strength and resilience of its characters, and it took us blood and sweat to get it to this stage,” the director, Asurf Oluseyi stated in an interview with Variety.
