Opoku-Agyemang has a superior track record compared to NAPO

The minority caucus in Parliament has expressed optimism about winning the upcoming December 7  presidential elections.

This follows speculation about Energy Minister Matthew Opoku Prempeh as Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s running mate.

Deputy Minority Leader Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah and Ranking Member on Defence James Agalga conveyed their sentiments in an interview with Class News, asserting that their candidate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, has a superior track record compared to Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO.

Mr. Buah and Agalga highlighted that Professor Opoku Agyemang’s accomplishments and experience surpass those of NAPO, particularly in the education and energy sectors.

According to the two, Professor Opoku Agyemang has a much better track record than NAPO.

Her contributions to the education sector, in particular, speak volumes,” said Deputy Minority Leader Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah.

The NDC leaders also dismissed the notion that selecting NAPO, an influential figure from the Ashanti Region, would sway voters.

They argued that Ghanaians are more focused on the current economic conditions, for which they hold the ruling party accountable.
