Sonotech Medical and Diagnostic Center has launched a nationwide breast cancer awareness campaign as part of activities of the 2024 Millennium Marathon at Independence Square on Saturday, September 7.
This year’s campaign which runs from October 1 to 30 2024, is themed “ It is time to rise” and aims at educating women and families on the importance of regular screening, early diagnosis and effective treatments.
Dr. Grace Buckman, the medical director at Sonotech Medical Center, highlighted the importance of early treatment for breast cancer. She also mentioned that Sonotech is offering free screenings for women and discounts on breast ultrasounds and mammograms in October.
