During the process, the captain indicated that, she felt pathetic and sad when the classification officials called a young South African Para-Athlete who was well branded in her tracksuit, Cap and shoes.
Fatima Moro later pointed out that the team could have been disqualified but as host they were considered to compete in their event.
She further elaborated that some of her colleagues were in slippers, others placed their T-shirt in Polythene bag and dressed when they got to the Classification center.
At the Center at Eden Heights, they were asked “Is that your Uniform” they had nothing to say than to stare at each other.
She later disclosed that they have to use pen to write their numbers on paper.
“ We had to use one person as a table for the rest of us to write our numbers. After that there was no pin to pin our numbers at the back of the T-Shirt, so we had to resort to other means by writing the numbers at the back of the T-shirt.
