The Primate His Grace the Most Rev’d Dr. Cyril Kobina Ben-Smith as the “Head” of the Anglican Church in Ghana profoundly welcomed Rev’d Dr. James Clark and Miss May Yu from the Trinity Church in New York to Ghana. The delegation are currently visiting funded and assisted missionary projects sites within the Internal Province of Ghana (Anglican Communion).
They visited the Anglican Hostel in the Anglican Diocese of Asante Mampong Diocese which is the assisted funding project site were the Primate is the Diocesan Bishop.




They were also taken to the St. Monica College Of Education, St. Monica Senior High School and the Mampong Babies School (Orphanage) where they met Rev’d Mother Hanna Ennin –
Superintendent In-charge at the Mampong Baby School and the kids housed there, were extremely excited to see the Primate whom they call “Father Bishop” with Rev’d Dr. James Clark and Miss May Yu as well as Mr. Reginald Frimpong Ansah-Adjaye and Mr. Reginald Pepsival Robertson.



Just like in the Anglican Diocese of Tamale, the Primate presented gifts to the delegation on behalf of the Internal Province of Ghana, the Diocese of Asante Mampong and that of Rt. Rev’d Christian Oscar Amoah, the Diocesan Bishop of Kumasi who currently on an Episcopal visit out of Ghana.


The delegation moved to Takoradi were the Diocesan Bishop of Sekondi, Rt. Rev’d Alexander Asmah and his team met them at the airport to welcome them into his Diocese.
