A group of armed individuals stormed Metro TV, an Accra-based television station, during a live broadcast on Wednesday, November 27.
A staff member of the station confirmed the incident, reporting that approximately ten people in police uniforms were on the premises.
When questioned about their presence, the officers reportedly stated that they were searching for “someone.”
In a video circulating online, Metro TV’s Morning Show host, Dr. Randy Abbey, is seen confronting some of the officers about their actions.
The exchange between the parties turned tense, with words being exchanged in an unfriendly manner.
